Okay, so this Frozen yoghurt thing has become a little bit of an obsession! I think I am in LOVE! plus it has to be a self-serve… their ratio of strawberries to cookie dough is so wrong! I mean come on the strawberries are just there as a token gesture not really to enjoy. plus marshmallow sauce! My mouth has tasted heaven!!!

4th July

Hi Guys

Sorry its a bit late… and we haven’t posted in a while.

I just want to tell you about how amazing the 4th July celebrations are! So we spent 4th July with Gillian and family, first of all we had a street parade where all the kids dressed up their bikes and we all walked around the block. Followed with a big street party!! We spent the day before with the kids decorating the bikes with all different accessories from the dollar and under store!

Me and Anne wanted to embrace our American side.. we went out and bought white dresses vest tops and cardigans in opposite Red and Blue! And of course a high pony with ribbon. also with clip in red and blue hair!!! We had a complete stranger ask to take a picture of us as she loved our outfits! This was before we opened our mouth for her to get even more excited as we were ENGLISH…4th july outfitDSC_0047

The block parade was massive!! we were at the front of the que and yet these were the people in front of us! The parade started with the fire truck then vintage cars. After the kids were able to ride around the block. DSCF6474

They get excited on the 4th July…. I mean very excited… some people talk about dancing on cars (FAME!) but lets top that and say dancing on the roof! Yep speakers and teens dancing on the roof of their house!!!

Once we had walked around the block we were then ready to eat! My first snow cone… I had quite a few, and then a glow in the dark mouth. Hot dogs EVERYWHERE!!! And the sauces were just weird! I passed on the mustard! DSC_0052Then the street party began, Egg and spoon race, Hola-Hoop competition, Tug of war

and best of all water balloon throwing competition. DSCF6489 DSCF6492If you thought you enjoyed fireworks at 5th November…. imagine that with evening heat… happy Americans…. and not FREEZING hands!

Flight time!!!

What an early start! Feels like we’ve been travelling over two days and we are only in Atlanta!!!

So first off we ended up going to check in…. I scanned my passport only to find it says I was flying to Orlando….. Great start…..  Don’t panic we are on the right flight now! Half an hour before we leave Atlanta for Los Angeles!

So Anne passed through bag check…  I was stopped and my bag searched and ended up being swabbed aswell.. But it’s all good we got through

Once we got on the plane (without even leaving England) I lost my phone… It had fallen down the back of the seat but it felt like a long panic

Atlanta airport is amazing had its own underground tube.. So glad Anne’s in charge of directions

Anyway off for the second leg…. LA here we come!!!

Talk Shows

I’ve read up that about a month ahead it’s worth looking to see what live talk shows you want to attend. Would never of thought of that. The website I will be using is 1iota. So far on the searches it looks the best and easiest way to see if there are tickets avalible and apply. So this is a free website where you can apply for tickets, it does not mean that you instantly get them.

we’ll let you know how it goes…. Keep you posted
